As a farmer in Pinal County, AZ for 50 years, I know well the story of preparing for rain during an extended drought.

Your article gets right to the heart of the matter.

Retired from farming now and settled in LD13; the most contentious Legislative District in Arizona, in the heart of Maricopa County.

Drought seems to follow me.

We have just suffered 3 resignations at the top of our LD leadership over issues you describe in your column.

The timing could not be worse.

Some of our precincts have ‘0’ GOP PCs, and now we’re in summer; High heat and low energy.

Time to prepare the fields. Piece of cake for a desert rat like me.

Thanks for the inspiration. Please continue your support.

And May God bless Captain Keshel.

Both of them.

Wow! This had so many great truths. Even a few hits to my heart, I needed to hear again. Boots are needed on the ground. We must prepare the fields for rain. In this analogy our butts on the floors for election integrity in ever way. Eyes 👀 wide open, prayed up and full of God's discernment. We must sign up and step up. My husband and I just applied to be on our counties Grand Jury. We can apply to work the voting booths for elections too. Yes, we work, have 8 grown children & our 18th grandchild on the way. We are very involved in our County and try and be that example to those younger than us that they are our future. Thank you for the 2300 words 🙏. I like straight truth. Even when it hurts. Iron sharpens iron. God Bless you Seth. Thank you for sharing your Father's letter too. Sincerely Sharleta ✝️
