If You Oppose the Left, Don't Act Like the Left

There are many obstacles, some more imposing than others, that interfere with getting things done efficiently in the patriot movement.  Liberty warriors are fiercely independent by nature, and as such, oppose collectivism instinctively.  By nature, supporters of individual liberty do not naturally cling to groupthink.  These “Alpha” type personalities are often seen banging heads with others who are on the same side but have a different approach to getting things done.

The Republican Party has ceased to be an effective instrument for opposing the global takeover of America because it is filled with compromised losers, cowards, quitters, weaklings, sell-outs, and yes, even traitors.  We are learning now that both parties feed at the same trough of tactics, tricks, techniques, and shortcuts used to manipulate elections, such as primaries resulting in mind-boggling retention of swamp creatures cycle after cycle.

Unfortunately, much of that retention over the years has been aided by our own people not bothering to do any of their own research, resulting in wins for incumbents.  I am always happy to highlight candidates who hold the appropriate positions in regard to election integrity (acknowledgement of 2020, commitment to the Ten Points to True Election Integrity), but urge everyone to do their own research on candidates (Trust but Verify). I have endorsed Ryan Kelley for GOP gubernatorial nominee in Michigan, but whenever I mention him, I take a lot of heat from supporters of one of his top opponents, Garrett Soldano.  I have nothing against Soldano, and have never met him, but support Kelley because I have known him for a year and am familiar with his positions on the issues I care about most (and the issues I’m most connected to publicly).

We cannot rely on others, no matter how smart they may be, to do the research on candidates we must do ourselves.  Federal elections aside, politics are local, and every candidate’s positions have different implications for potential constituents.  Relying on influencer endorsements without doing your own research opens the door for poor selections in the event of said influencer being influenced on his or her own end to push certain candidates without merit.

If we don’t do our own research on topics ranging from candidate selection, to policy, to local laws, to making connections and relationships with city councils and county commissions, or sheriffs, we fail to exercise the individualism that runs in the veins of supporters of individual liberty.  We cannot be people who support fierce American exceptionalism and individualism if we rely only on what others tell them to do.

Think about that.  We mock the left endlessly for being “lemmings,” following the leader, or the media, in wearing masks for years on end to stop a virus that fits between the woven fabric of a mask, for doing exactly as told by the man on TV, or for rarely breaking from the ranks with a position that requires original thought to develop.

We must also not emulate the left by using Alinsky-like tactics against our own people.  Infighting in the patriot ranks has gone on for far too long, and has hamstrung those making progress in various fronts because it makes it much more difficult to unite the soldiers in the fight who should practice the second veteran lesson of staying in their own lane.

It is the anti-capitalist left who is known for hating on anyone who collects a paycheck they don’t have access to.  It should not be found in the ranks of freedom-loving patriots to criticize others who self-fund or take payment for performing various tasks and jobs.  The left has full-time activists committed to making the lives of patriots a living hell; our people are generally the ones who work a 40-hour week and must do “patriot stuff” on the side, often for little, if any, pay.  If success in the mission happens, they are soon targeted.  If they run businesses or have a reputation to uphold, they are soon forced to choose whether they’d like to continue with their political activism.

The left, a term that seems somewhat short-sighted given the global pressure being applied from all directions, controls everything, including media, entertainment, finance, big business, sports, woke church, academia, and, of course, government.  The left loves to see patriots tearing themselves apart, requiring them to fire not even one proverbial shot. 

Do not be like the left.  Be like defenders of liberty who can defend ideas without help.  Set the standard, don’t back down, and understand that we are outnumbered, but not necessarily underdogs if we can keep it together long enough to win.
