Unlike Sinema in a truly red state, couldn’t Fetterman at least officially change parties and run as an Independent and still win in PA? Like Lieberman, he could still caucus with House Democrats but voice the moderate (even a conservative) foreign policy positions like Lieberman did and still win his seat? Look, I want him joining (or at least occasionally voting) with GOP but I understand his position that may still be a bridge too far in PA.

ONE…or the other…party has to reinvent itself? Why not both, Seth?

After we sweep the extremists from both ends of the spectrum, we’ll have a better chance to thrive in our moderation.

Yes, let’s chuck the dirty bath water, but keep the feuding twin babies…and let cooler heads prevail for a change.

At least do let’s do it for the love of God, country and our fellows who wish to live orderly lives under our laws. Amen.

Yes, I admit to being a bit of a doubting Thomas so like you I will wait and see. Actions speak louder than words and time will tell by how he votes on upcoming issues. Talk is cheap. Sorry about all the clichés, but as my late aunt used to say, "John, s?!t or get off the pot."

Agreed one can’t be on the fence when one side (the Establishment) is obviously evil.
