Trump Deragement Substack is a human centipede of slop. Kinzinger is a traitorous midget like Ephialtes. AI can regurgitate their hysterical word salad easily, hopefully we will grow larger than them over time.

Capt. Keshel,

I'm grateful to be one of your subscribers. I appreciate the fact that a lot like Sundance at The Conservative Treehouse, you focus on research, metrics, and facts. I share your posts to some coworkers and one who hosts a morning radio show and encourage them to subscribe.

You make me feel better about the realities on the ground and your perspective and research helps me to realize that the sky is not always falling. I stopped watching TV in 2016 and it's one of the best decisions I ever made.

My biggest frustration since 2016 is the simple fact that so many individuals that have committed acts of sedition, fraud or even treason against the American people seem to be out there doing just fine. It's disheartening but I pray they'll get karma at some point in time. Think Peter Strzok, James Comey, John Brennan, HRC, and dozens of others. Anyway, I'll keep reading Seth and sharing as much as I can. The analysis you do is eye opening, thorough with no smoke and mirrors. Thank you

Mark, your support means a ton to me. I appreciate the comment and please let the crew at CTH I appreciate their investigative skill and agree with most opinions they hold.

I’m with you on the prevailing injustice and appeal to God to make something of it since men have failed.

I do wonder how many of the TDS subscriptions are fake ala Act Blue. But I am glad to see Substack get the money.

My friend Hayden Ludwig wrote a great deep dive article into the origins of the intellectual heart of the TDS machine: The Bulwark. I used to wonder how once respected conservatives like William Kristol managed to make the pivot from editor of The Weekly Standard to proud Kamala Harris supporter. This piece explains a lot, if you have the stomach for it.

For my own part, I am an unpaid subscriber to The Bulwark, and I occasionally turn on the comments section for my own, private 10 minutes of hate every now and then. Not their hate, but mine. I have a visceral reaction to a certain type of female voice that often appears among the commenters, oozing "compassion" and "inclusiveness," and dripping with a kind of malice, that in my mind, I associate with very fat, arrogant house cats.

I can easily see how and why people oppose Trump. I struggle to understand how people can fixate so relentlessly on Trump's (possible) missteps while completely ignoring the excesses of their own party, though. The relentless desire to find SOMETHING (anything!) to distract from progressive failures in urban education, law and order, and immigration policy have become completely febrile. The idea that California voters would be preoccupied with Trump, while they effectively ignore the absurdities of their own state and local politicians, is very frustrating.

But I think that this relentless drive to focus on the OTHER side is weakening the left (by which I mean the institutional/bureaucratic defenders, Kinzinger among them) greatly. Instead of focusing on the narcissists and grifters within their ranks they've been bedazzled by Trump for a decade now. That sustained distraction has hollowed out their party. No amount of well-paid, elite dissembling will be sufficient to rebuild their political coalition now. Difficult choices will have to be made, and Adam Kinzinger won't be much help with that.
