I was a JD fan before it was popular. He embodies the best of all the MAGA traits, and is a worthy standard bearer. Bonus: he seems to trigger leftists almost as much as Trump does.

FWIW, I find it interesting that Trump (the businessman) may well have engaged in some "succession planning" in that he selected someone who, with four years of seasoning in the VP role, could take over the reins.

In many cases, the VP selected appears only for purposes of getting "the big guy" over the initial hump by having some regional appeal to pick up electoral college votes, or someone clearly inadequate so as to not threaten or overshadow "the big guy."

Too early for me to consider Vance as I still have the stench of Pence in my mouth and Virginia (my home state) has gone total blue, due to the blacks and low info whites. Let's revisit this say, in late 2026 after we see how things shake out in the next 8-10 months.

Vance is great, and has a backbone. Being from VA and engaged with election reform here, the consensus is that Youngkin has been a nothing burger in terms of election reform. His administration runs from it!

I’d put New Jersey on the list of states that could put Vance over the top.

Great analysis as usual but Brian Kemp of Georgia? He and his SOS, Ratzenberger, were huge obstacles in the 2020 general election results, pretty much saying, “nothing to see here.” I am a fan of Vance but not Kemp.

I believe that whoever Our President endorses will be the next President. Clearly JD is in the driver's seat but the successor to Trump will be critical to continuing the Great Awakening Plan and crushing the Globalist Deep State and Trump has way too much invested to turn it over to anyone that he had any doubts about. So far JD looks very promising and is clearly being trusted with playing a major role as witnessed by his taking it to the Europeans.

Then there's this:

Are you following the news today?

WHAT A BIG NEWS DAY.

These people are REALLY stupid.

This will be the END of the D party.

This will be the path forward (w/ public outrage) to JAIL many so-called 'untouchables'.

You, THE PEOPLE, have the POWER.

DOWN SHE GOES.

What happens when people learn the TRUTH?

What happens when people WAKE UP?

They will not be able to walk down the STREET.

THE GREAT AWAKENING.

WAY TOO EARLY. LAST WEEK Trump himself told I think Hannity? exactly that when asked if JD would be his successor. JD hasnt DONE anything yet except talk. Which he does really well but isn't that how we got Obama? The last real task Trump gave him to do was escort Matt Gaetz to meet with senators and how did that work out?

Most of the names on the Could Have Been list make me ill.

Vance is head and shoulders above all of them and a couple of Barron body lengths above a good third of them.

More than one bullet has been dodged.

I remember reading about the election fraud of Nixon's loss in Illinois and Texas (in a book by historian Paul Johnson, I believe). This would've been about 20 years ago. At the time I thought "thank goodness we're past the era of widespread ballot harvesting." Lol

Absolutely! I was anti-J.D. until his debate with the Joyful H○○ker. For the reason you mentioned, his past statements regarding President Trump. I also assumed he was another plastic establishment politician. We'd been burned so many times through 2017-2021 that I trusted NO ONE. Nunes was my VP choice in 2017, and was until I switched to J.D., partly for the reasons you named and his seemingly authentic appeal. He's well spoken, but not in a rehearsed "smooth or slick" style like Fiorina, Cruz et al appeared to be in 2016, and most professional politicians are (Barry, Billy, Hillary). Quick wit AND quick rebuttals, but not in a snarky or swarmy way. I'm seeing the DeSantis team on X pushing him already, so we need to really end all that mess and unite before campaign season 2028 instead of INTENTIONALLY trying to poison the well and provide talking points to fake news. J.D. is what everyone thought DeSantis was, but better and authentic and measured way - doesn't need to overplay it. I'm a hillbilly too, and didn't know about J.D.'s background with his Kentucky roots, his mother, and other details. I didn't really catch on to it being his background until debate time. I'd blocked most out by then. I am excited for our future. Thanks Captain K!

I spent my summers with my granny also, same as J.D. - we always had food then, and no coal stove in the living room to heat the house and bathwater. But still had the outhouse to keep us grounded lol...
