Love it bro. Building a new office and planning to fill one wall with meaningful quotes and wisdom. Let’s see how many I can fit on there.

So well thought out. Your Dad was a thoughtful, rational man. How blessed to have him as your guidepost to live a man’s life and be prepared for the roller coaster that is life. I’m impressed with getting rid of fear. Fear has sickened our country where so many are victims of it. Facing life daily with an attitude of gratitude gets rid of that fear and allows us to life a full life. Thanks for this today...makes me have hope for our country!

Hey Bud, you brought back an onslaught of fond memories mentioning Esquire. I read it faithfully. I’m a fee weeks from my 70th pass around the sun amd I crdit tjat magazine for developing the “culture “ I exude. All your points in statesmanship are so spot on. And “Texas casual”? Is that what that is. Always served this kid from Jersey well wherever I travelled.

Thanks so much for all you do. You are truly a man’s man.

Thank you Captain K! I've enjoyed them all, but quoted six along with my grandfatherly commentary.

"If you can go to the gym, the store, or the golf course, you can vote in person, too." (Critical to the survival of our Republic.)

"Casinos don’t stay in business because they’ve perfected the art of losing money." (This includes apps on phones - for my grandsons).

"You can always make more money. You can’t make more time." (time goes by so fast)

"Don’t let your mouth write checks your ass can’t cash." (Proverbs 18:6 The lips of fools bring them strife, and their mouths invite a beating.)

"Set free from fear of death, a man can be fully alive both in the here and now and in the forever beyond." (Matthew 10: 28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.)

"If you wouldn’t say it to someone in person, don’t say it about them on social media." (Proverbs 26:11

As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly.)

Noice. No longer a fan of Colin Powell, but the did have a great Power point presentation on leadership long ago. Separating the message from the man, to learn.

It's not the full presentation on leadership, which is no longer on the inter net now. The missing slides were about spiritual warfare, both personal and how we becomes victims of it, if we let it. Never let them coerce you into what you think about yourself was Colin's best point in this leadership powerpoint.
