I’m overjoyed at the NY results. Democrats are Balkanizing themselves and now fighting on two fronts - against Republicans and also the other half of their party.
This can be common in politics but only if the dissenters are willing to bury the hatchet and work toward a win; the DCA is so extreme that won’t happen.
This is exactly what happened to the Whigs in the 1850s. Stall, spin, crash, burn, die.
Do not mourn the Democrat Party becoming honest about itself. Celebrate it. The “moderates” gave America IRS targeting, Russia hoaxes, border chaos, censorship, lawfare, COVID coercion, and managed decline. Now the socialists have removed the mask. Abolish ICE. Free Palestine. Join DSA. End borders. Defund police. That is no longer fringe chatter. It is primary-winning language. Good. Let voters see the choice clearly. Republicans should answer with pragmatic populism: secure borders, clean elections, energy dominance, manufacturing, public safety, peace through strength, and families first. The clearer the left gets, the stronger America First becomes.

Probably not much. It comes down to secularism - but perhaps some. Unrestrained and unlimited support for Israel isn’t popular with younger voters of either side.
