I heard the crashes on September 11 from Worth Street, seven blocks from Ground Zero. I watched people jump and got covered in the shitstorm. Twenty-five years later, I stand with Keshel in refusing to let remembrance become an annual substitute for resolve. Saving this republic requires work between elections: exposing corruption, defending speech, demanding equal justice, and raising children who understand liberty. Faith in God must sustain us when victories disappear, and the work gets lonely. Our Constitution deserves defenders who keep showing up. We have a country and a civilization to save. I intend to do my part.
As a proud American who's traveled overseas a lot, I'm constantly surprised how freaking unaware most of our citizens are to the comforts and freedoms they have here at home. It's not just the creature comforts we all assume everyone has - things like air conditioning, healthy dinner portions, large home spaces. But it's the basic rights and freedoms that simply don't exist, to the same extent, most anywhere else. Even in countries that most believe are First World.
One of the great outcomes of the US hosting the recent World Cup was to read the daily, breathless voices of foreign visitors who couldn't believe how beautiful, and free, and open, and welcoming and wealthy our country is. We are unique in so many ways. And now we have a political party that wants to destroy it because it's not 'good enough' for their tastes.

I feel like we have put off a reckoning with Islam for 2( years. We continue to do so today. The reconning will come one day and the longer we go the worse it will become. IMO it would have been better to end the threat on 9/12 in the same way we ended WW II.
There’s something like 2 billion Muslims in the world. The problem is bigger than religion. Non-Muslims created the policies that allowed the demographic/religious change that has overtaken the country.
I saw many examples of folks who had little in my travels around the globe but appreciated what God gave them. I was touched by a tour guide in Jamaica’s pride over her home which was no better than my chicken coop; or, the Zambian tour guide who showed me her hut with brand new linoleum on the dirt floor. Both beamed with pride.
I support our current president because he has the courage to stand up to the Deep State that not only rigs elections with tainted voting machines and bogus mail in ballots but is also a Deep State that has no qualms about doing 911 or killing JFK. I pray Trump succeeds.
I was blessed to acquire a copy of the American Institute of Architects study which confirmed my own opinion of a Las Vegas style controlled implosion. The study never saw daylight.
I saw the first showing of a quickly quashed movie about the JFK assassination showing the actuarial statistics in its ending that convinced me the shooter was in front of Kennedy and not Harvey above.
I blame the main stream media for pushing the lies. Presidents from the elder Bush who coordinated JFK’s death to Obama who works for the London based new world order group should all be ceremonially impeached for creating this dark period in American history that spans from Eisenhower’s departure to Trump’s second term. Even Nixon was duped by Kissinger.
Invest in political victories at grass roots level and your National victories will be consistent. Focus on only National victories and your victories will be very inconsistent. Your choice.
I was 28, living inside--as I still do--the rough triangle shape formed by NYC, DC, and Shanksville. For hours after the attacks, rumors persisted that another plane was in the air, aimed at 3 Mile Island. It was very difficult to sleep that night.
Yes, we have it good, very good. All the more reason that we can't let guys like Zohran and the ever increasing numbers of Muslims he represents take it away.
My church *won't talk about politics.* They will if you ask them privately. But not from the pulpit. No Charlie Kirk memorial from them, either.
And if I hear one more online "Christian influencer" insist we are in the last days, I will tear my remaining hair out. The very fact that they think it is, is the best sign it isn't. But that's no consolation. As you point out, we've a long way to go.

Beautifully said, Captain.

It's crazy. And criminal.

I would never say nuke them all. But a show of real force and commitment might have saved a lot of grief and heartache over the last 25 years.
Excellent essay!

Well said Seth. A symbolic " call to arms"
