The view from here, for the election consultants etc., looks more like "get with the program" and stop shopping online for BB guns (or cap guns, for those who remember) when hand grenades are being lobbed at you. The California governor's race shows how effective dividing up the votes among our opponents can be. Due to too many cooks in the kitchen, the top 2 right now are Republicans. That would be the funniest thing in the world if Dems were shut out of the governor's race based on their own crooked machinations.
