The fight now is sovereignty, law, industry, family, truth, and national memory against managed decline with better lighting. So very well said, Captain K. In light of the spectacular Venezuela oil deal, I wonder if that's why DJT has been "dithering" about "going all the way" in Iran...now there is no need for US to do so, not remotely. Europeans and Middle East nations, it's a "you" problem - good luck with that.

When we ramp up our usage of Venezula's output we can tell the rest of the world, "we've prevented Iran getting a nuke, and crippled their militaries [land, sea, and air] so now the oil and shipping of same are not a USA issue." The biggest issue is China's thirst for Iranian oil, but that could be solved by selling some Venezulan oil to them at "market price + 10%" and letting that double dip to mitigate our balance of trade with them.

Centrists, like secularists, are the idiot minority who think they are the "mainstream" reasonable people who most people would agree with because they always look to be equidistant from the right and the left as portrayed to them by the Media. They will only find out they are a tiny minority always scrambling to place themselves between the hammer and anvil of the opposing parties when they are crushed in the clash of the two. Being tepid is not being reasonable, and the middle is always to the left until reality catches up.

I think DJT will finally bring an end to the conflict between the ruling Arabs (Mullahs & IRGC) and the native Persians. There is this little history book called the Bible that so many seem to overlook, it's well worth the study. There is no middle when it comes to our heritage with the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
The Captain sometimes fails to understand what the demographics of modern "show business" are. That is understandable because he is someone who has been drawn into being a public figure because he is an honest, intelligent, skilled person whose second career is in politics. That is not how almost everyone else comes to the "Entertainment" business. Music, movies, "the news" are always going to be skewed towards leftist ideology because the overwhelming majority of the actual paying customers are going to be the believers in secular miracles and the power of political complaint. The people who entertain themselves by living - and their children - are never going to be willing to spend money on fantasies of living the gangsta life and finding true love from having sex with random strangers. Grievance has always sold more than the good news.
